We bought a kid size skateboard to teach one of our dogs to skate. Of course I had to try it out.

Country vs. city: Harris tweed vs Corneliani, corduroy vs smooth Italian wool, brogues vs plain Oxfords, tattersall vs light blue shirt, knitted wool tie vs Drake’s fine silk tie.

So, as i mentioned a couple of posts back i traded some of my handmade ties for a couple of handmade pants by a guy from SF (nick: inlandisland). I got them today and it was love at first wear.

Pants for ties or vice versa

There’s this great guy (inlandisland) that makes his own pants, who posts there on a regular basis. As we’re both fans of DIY projects we agreed to make an exchange. He made me a pair of pants and I made him some ties/bow ties.

We agreed that he’d choose the colour of the pants and that it will be kept secret to me until I receive them. We also agreed that I would make two items of his choice and then surprise him with what the third would be.
